Redmi is set to officially launch its new Note series phones within this month. Wang Teng, head of Xiaomi’s China marketing department and leader of the Redmi brand, confirmed the release timeline with a promotional poster.
While Wang included some brand-related statistics in the poster, no technical details were revealed. However, previous leaks have provided some insights about the series.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro model has received 3C certification in China and will support 90W fast charging. The high-end Note 15 Pro+ was listed with MIIT certification featuring BeiDou satellite messaging support. This makes it Redmi’s first phone to offer satellite connectivity, a feature not yet available even on the company’s flagship K series.
On the hardware side, the Note 15 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s chipset. It will feature a 1.5K resolution OLED display with thin, symmetrical bezels and curved edges on all four sides. For photography, it will sport a large 50 MP main sensor and a 50 MP telephoto lens. Other expected features include symmetrical dual speakers, IP66, IP68, and IP69 water resistance certifications, and an eye-protection 1.5K display.
